20150824_152330-1I have been involved in fitness ever since I was in high school, when I first taught aerobics at a local gym that opened up in my hometown in the late 80’s! I have worked out all my life, and my current favorites are yoga, Les Mills CXWORX (core), Body Pump, and barre. I recently became certified in CXWORX,  have Yoga 1 certification, and this Fall, plan to work on Body Pump certification as well. I love to teach classes and workout with others….I think it is the most important thing you can do for yourself to stay healthy and relieve stress, and it’s fun!

I first stepped into a gym at age 28 shortly after giving birth to my twins. I really enjoyed working out and seeing the changes happening as I was starting to feel healthier and more confident in myself. I decided shortly after that to get my Zumba license. In 2016 I decided to challenge myself and become a BodyPump instructor and one year later certify in BodyCombat! I enjoy what I do and I enjoy working with others who want to achieve the same kind of goals. Fitness is a journey and I encourage everybody to give it a try!

I’ve been active all my life but I didn’t get into the gym until after the birth of my last child. Carrying around an extra 20 lbs, I was determined to shed the weight and get back in shape. I took my first BODYPUMP class in January 2010 and was hooked! Since that time, I have dedicated myself to helping others have fun and get fit. I am a certified personal trainer and nutritionist, certified BODYPUMP and BODYCOMBAT instructor and certified vinyasa flow yoga.
